What is a wikiThis is a featured page

The brilliance of a wiki is this: it's not controlled, it's a wild free for all that you have access to. This wiki is for writing. It began in 2008. Until disclaimed, it is the first writing wiki in the whole wide world. Now, to wikipedia's definition of a wiki:

A wiki is a collection of web pages designed to enable anyone who accesses it to contribute or modify content, using a simplified markup language. Wikis are often used to create collaborative websites and to power community websites.

"Wiki Wiki" (/wiːkiː wiːkiː/) is a reduplication of "wiki", a Hawaiian word for "fast". It has been suggested that "wiki" means "What I Know Is". However, this is a backronym.

At Yes -- the litchaos.com wiki -- please post a comment, start a new thread, make a comment -- whatever you want. This is your online community. Just click the EasyEdit button with the pencil near it and start messing around.

This is a place where writers can exchange information, make comments on writing, chat, post things. It's an online forum, started by litchaos.com and open to anyone who wants to use it. You are all welcome to mash it up. Make your own pages, create threads, comment, make profiles, reveal all the chaos it is to be you, and be part of this first wiki writing community (WWC). If you have any problems or have limited access that you would like increased, please send a message to yesman1 or moctezuma.johnson.
