Send work for The's first theme issue. The theme is "quotes."

Find a quote. Any quote. A quote you love, remember, recite, write on a scrap of paper for yourself when you are bored.

For example: "I'm going to remember your name and throw out my head." - Oscar Levant

Write a poem or flash fiction inspired by the quote. Any length. Submit it along with the quote. Feel free to incorporate the quote into your work.

Work will appear as a downloadable PDF thru The's website, http://welcometoyethe. blogspot. com

Already published in THE: Todd Moore, Lyn Lifshin, Rob Cook, Misti Rainwater-Lites, David Lawrence, John Sweet, AJ Kaufmann, and others. Didn't say "many more" because THE is still relatively new. Help change that. Submit. I want to say "many more."
