This is a great issue! Wow, I'm impressed!
I love George Anderson's dream poem, Canoe Full of Moosemeat. What a delightfully whimsical adventure. And his Shithouse taught me some things I certainly never knew. The focus part seems like another poem that got put in incorrectly in the page, but I'll take it, anyway.
It's nice to see Beezle Bloom getting started in the literary publication world, should go a long way. The detail about the belt buckle is brilliant.
Richard Houff's poetry is rewarding, glad to get a chance to read it. "his shades are drawn
—he’s not buying it" is one of my favorite bits. I like his endings, in general--like..."And the glowing space between your breasts." But Apocolyptic Quadrille's really shines to me, and gets better and better as it goes, just ascends with beauty by the end. Beautiful concepts.

it's actually thinly sliced sea urchin!
there's a tower up over there
50 locals are hanging upside down from
strings pegged to the top
the tower spins
they are flying upside down
I would do it but I'm too salty now

Every day I ordered fish tail soup and sat staring at the fish. It lay on its side. One eye peering up. At me? The ceiling? Did it see the gods like flashes of sparks and lightning? I stared at the fish in dead stare. There was a feeling -- a freedom, like part of me was gone. Like a pressure had been lifted. Like having impacted wisdom teeth extracted. Yet there was a tingling. Like salt in a wound. Then I was struck by something -- a thought, a revelation? -- no, by a spoon and chopsticks.

I think it might be the most useful idea so far: we have made the "promote yourself" page with space for you to add a blurb about yourself, your books, or whatever else you'd like big up. Nobody is better at promoting yourself than you are. So check the page out and add some interesting tidbits about yourself and sales pitch your books.
Any other idea?

A page where we promote ourselves is a stunning idea. How about a classified section also. I would like someone to edit my book of poems and I'll do the same in exchange. Anybody interested, please email ragabrie@gmail.com. We need a page for only those ads. I guess I'll make that now.
